Our engineers went ‘loop the loop’ when they found these cables at a theme park

Our engineers were recently carrying out EICR Fixed Wire Testing, Thermal Imaging and Emergency Light Testing at a very well known theme park in England.

This picture shows bad workmanship with the ‘looping’ of cables entering the distribution board, which potentially could be very dangerous.

Our site contact was made aware of this issue straight away and he immediately instructed our engineers to terminate the cables and install them correctly.

The remedial works were then carried out there and then on the same day. Sadly, bad workmanship is a common occurrence and we see examples of this almost everyday of the week whilst out on sites carrying out our electrical compliance testing services.
